Accept an invitation

How to join a workspace you've been invited to.

An invitation is for one email address. To accept it, you must be signed in to Starjay with an account that uses that address.

Accept from the dashboard

If you're signed in with the invited address, the invitation waits at the top of your dashboard: "[name] invited you to [workspace]".

Find the banner

Open the dashboard. The invitation shows at the top of the page.

Accept

Select Accept. The dashboard switches to the new workspace.

Select Decline if you don't want to join.

You can also accept from the workspace picker in the left menu: select Join plus the workspace name.

Select the link in the invitation email:

If you aren't signed in, the page shows who invited you and a Continue as button with the invited address. Sign in, or create an account with that address. The invitation is then waiting on your dashboard.
If you're signed in with the invited address, the page says the invitation is waiting on your dashboard. Select Open dashboard and accept it there.
If you're signed in with a different address, the page says This invitation is for the invited address. Select Sign out, then sign in or create an account with the invited address.

The link works on a phone too.

What you see	What it means
You have an invitation waiting. with a request to verify your email	Your email address isn't verified with your sign-in yet. Verify it, then the invitation appears.
This invitation isn't valid	It expired (links last 7 days), was revoked, or was already used. Ask the owner to send a new one.
"...isn't accepting members right now (its Pro plan has ended)."	The workspace isn't on Pro. Ask the owner to renew Pro.

After you join, you belong to more than one workspace. Use the workspace picker to switch. See Workspaces.
