Running out of credits
What stops and what keeps working when your workspace runs out of credits, and how to continue.
When your workspace's credits run out, the AI and the editor stop until you get more credits. Your published sites keep working.
What stops
The AI. You can't send new requests. The AI panel shows AI credits used up with a Manage credits link. If the AI was in the middle of a request, it stops partway and keeps the changes it already made.
The editor, after a while. If a site is open for editing when credits run out, you can keep working on it by hand for about an hour, sometimes up to an hour and a half. Then the editor stops. The time you keep working uses credits like normal editing time.
Opening sites for editing. While you have no credits, a site can't be opened for editing. You see This workspace is out of credits.
What keeps working
- Your published sites. Visitors can still see every live site, and forms keep collecting submissions.
- The dashboard. You can still see your sites, form responses, analytics and billing.
How to continue
Do one of these:
- On Pro: buy credit packs. See Buy more credits.
- On Free: upgrade to Pro for 10,000 credits a month. See Upgrade, switch to yearly, downgrade.
- Wait for your refill. The Subscriptions page shows the date in AI credits used this billing period.
Only the workspace owner can buy credits or upgrade. If you're a member, ask the owner.
