What is Starjay

How it works

1. You describe the site you want. Type a few sentences, attach a screenshot, or give the AI the address of a site you like.
2. The AI builds it. It writes the pages, sections, colors, and fonts. You watch the canvas update as it works.
3. You review and decide. Every request becomes a version. Step between versions, then Save to keep the changes or Reject to undo the whole session.
4. You refine it by hand. Double-click text to edit it, replace images, adjust styles in the Style panel, and add elements and sections.
5. You publish. One click puts the site online at a free yourname.starjay.app address. You can connect your own domain at any time.

What you can build

A Starjay site can have:

• Pages, nested up to five levels deep, each with its own SEO settings.
• Shared components, such as a header and footer, that appear on every page.
• Collections of structured content (a CMS) for blog posts, products, team members, and similar repeating content.
• An image library, with images resized and served in modern formats automatically.
• Forms that save submissions, email you, or send them to a webhook.
• Redirects, a sitemap, and search engine settings.
• Your own domain, page view analytics, and checkpoints you can restore.

Your site is real code

Every Starjay site is a standard Astro project styled with Tailwind CSS. Pages are static by default, so they load fast. Your colors and fonts are stored once as design tokens and used everywhere.

Because the code is standard, you can also work on your site from an AI app on your computer, such as Claude Code or Codex. That AI reads and edits the same files the editor does, and you still review its changes in the editor.

There's no button to download your site's code. To get a copy of your data, contact support.
