Templates
What you get when you start a site from a template.
A template is a finished site you can start from instead of a blank page. You pick one in the Create a new site dialog. See Create a site.
Your copy is yours
Starting from a template gives you your own, independent copy:
- Pages, components, colors and fonts are copied into your site. Change anything you like.
- Images are copied into your site's image library. They belong to your site, not the template.
- Later changes to the template don't reach your site, and your changes never affect the template.
- The site starts unpublished. Nothing is live until you publish it. See Publish your site.
Forms need your own delivery settings
A template's forms keep their fields and keep saving submissions to the Submissions tab. Email notifications and webhooks are removed, because they pointed at the template author's inbox or server. Add your own in the Forms panel. See Where submissions go.
Blank
Blank starts a site with nothing designed yet. Describe what you want to the AI and it builds the site. See Chat with the AI.
