    Site settings

What's in the Settings view: navigation, page transitions and page defaults, Google Analytics, and checkpoints.

To open site settings, open the view menu at the top-left of the editor (it shows Canvas while you're on the canvas) and choose Settings. The Settings view replaces the canvas. Choose Canvas from the same menu to go back.

The left side lists three sections under Site Settings:

    Section Description
General Navigation, page transitions, and site-wide defaults.
Analytics Measure traffic on your published site with Google Analytics.
Checkpoints Save and restore snapshots of your entire site.

SEO settings aren't here; they have their own SEO view in the same menu. See Site SEO defaults.

    General

    Setting What it does
Client-Side Router When on (the default), Pages swap without full reload. When off, visitors get Standard browser navigation. See Page transitions and navigation.
Page Transition None, Fade or Slide. Only shown while Client-Side Router is on.
Page Defaults Background, Text color and Font for every page, used when a component doesn't override them. See Page defaults.

The note at the bottom reads Changes take effect on the next page navigation. That applies to the canvas. Visitors see the change after you publish.

    Analytics

Connect Google Analytics 4 by entering your Measurement ID (it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX). Tracking loads only on your published site, never in the editor. See Google Analytics.

    Checkpoints

Save a checkpoint of your whole site, see the list of saved checkpoints, and restore one. Checkpoints are also saved automatically, for example before AI changes. See Checkpoints.

    Saving

There's no Save button. Each setting saves as soon as you change it. The Measurement ID saves when you leave the field and shows Saving… then Saved. You can undo General changes with Cmd/Ctrl+Z.

The AI can also change navigation and transitions when you ask it to.
