    Pages and the Pages panel

What the Pages panel shows: the page tree, how pages nest by address, and the icons and labels that show each page's publish state.

Click Pages in the left icon rail and open the Pages tab. The panel lists every page on your site as a tree. Click a page to open it on the canvas. Right-click a page for its actions.

    The tree

    • Home is always first. It's the page at your site's main address (/).
    • Other pages show their address, for example /about.
    • Pages nest by address. A page at /services/design sits under /services.
    • If a page has subpages but no page of its own exists at the parent address, the parent shows as a dimmed folder: No page at this URL yet — pages below it still work. Click its + button to create the missing page.
    • Pages that show CMS items (such as a blog post page) appear with the collection's name and a collection icon, plus the number of items.
    • Click the arrow next to a page to show or hide its subpages.
    • Pages at the same level are listed alphabetically until you drag them into your own order. See Create, move and rename pages.

Use the Search... box at the top to filter the list. Use the + button (Add page) next to it to create a page.

    Icons and labels

    You see Meaning
Green page icon The page is live on your published site.
Grey page icon Not yet published.
Small yellow diamond on a green icon Published — Changed since the last publish. Publish again to put the changes live.
Draft label The page won't go live when you publish.
Deleted label The page is marked for deletion and will be removed on the next publish.

Hover over a page's icon to see its status in words. A green icon with no diamond means Published — No changes since the last publish.

    Page actions

    Right-click a page to see:

    Action What it does
Add subpage Create a page under this one.
Change location Change the last part of the page's address.
Mark for Publish / Unmark for Publish / Mark for Depublish Change whether the page goes live on the next publish. See Draft, ready and live pages.
Mark for Delete Remove the page on the next publish. See Delete and restore a page.
Undelete Shown instead of the others on a page marked for deletion.

Home has no Change location or Mark for Delete. Your 404 page has neither of them either. Pages that show CMS items have no publish action.
