Your account and dashboard
The dashboard
Everything on the dashboard: the Sites page, the left menu, and light and dark mode.
The dashboard is the first thing you see after you sign in. It lists your workspace's sites and links to everything that isn't inside a single site.
Left menu
| Item | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Workspace picker | Appears at the top only if you belong to more than one workspace or have a pending invitation. See Workspaces. |
| Sites | Your sites (described below). |
| Analytics | Page views for your published sites. Pick a site at the top. See Your site's traffic. |
| Form responses | Form submissions for a site. See Read and export submissions. |
| Subscriptions | Your plan, AI credits, credit packs and page views. See Plans. |
| Members | The people in your workspace. See Invite members. |
| Settings | Four tabs: Workspace (the workspace name), Account (your profile), Usage (AI usage by site and by person), Spend (credits used). |
| Support | Starjay's support page. |
| Light mode / Dark mode | Switches the dashboard's color theme. |
| Sign out | Signs you out. |
Links to Privacy, Beta terms and Acceptable use sit below Sign out.
If you have a pending invitation to another workspace, a banner at the top of every dashboard page shows it with Accept and Decline.
Light and dark mode
The dashboard follows your device's light or dark setting until you select the Light mode / Dark mode button. After that, it keeps your choice. The editor has its own light/dark switch.
The Sites page
The header shows how many sites the workspace has and a New site button. With no sites yet, you see No sites yet and a Create your first site button.
Search
Type in Search sites by name or ID… to filter the list. The header then shows how many sites match, for example "2 of 7 sites". If nothing matches, select Clear search.
Grid and list views
Use the two buttons beside the search box to switch between Grid view and List view. The dashboard remembers your choice on this device.
| View | What you see |
|---|---|
| Grid | A preview image of each site's homepage, its name, and when it was last edited. Select the image or name to open the site. Hover to show the More actions (…) button. |
| List | One row per site with columns Site, Domain and Last edited, an Open button and a More actions (…) button. Select a row's small preview image to see it larger, with an Open button for the site. |
The preview image updates after you leave the editor, so it can take a moment to show your latest changes.
Sorting
Sites are sorted by last edit, newest first. In list view, select the Site column heading to sort by name or the Last edited heading to sort by date; select again to reverse the order. The sort you choose also applies in grid view. Archived sites always come after active ones.
Filter by domain
In list view, select the Domain column heading to filter:
| Option | Shows |
|---|---|
| All sites | Every site. |
| Custom domain | Sites live on your own domain. |
| SaaS subdomain only | Sites live only on their free Starjay address. |
| Unpublished | Sites that aren't live anywhere. |
The Domain column shows a site's custom domain if it has one, otherwise its Starjay address.
Site actions
Open a site's More actions (…) menu, or right-click its card or row:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Copy site ID | Copies the site's ID, for example to give to support or to your own AI. |
| Rename | Changes the site's name. |
| Duplicate | Makes a copy of the site. Not shown for archived sites. |
| Archive | Archives the site. Shown for active sites. |
| Restore | Brings back an archived site. Shown for archived sites. |
| Delete | Deletes the site permanently. |
Details: Rename, duplicate, archive, restore, delete a site.
Archived sites show an Archived label and can't be opened.
