    Site SEO defaults

Set the site title, language, default description and site images that every page falls back to.

Site defaults apply to every page that doesn't set its own value. To open them, choose SEO from the view menu in the top bar. Defaults opens first, under the heading Site-wide SEO Defaults.

Each field saves when you click away from it.

    Text settings

    Field What it does
Title Your site's name in search results and browser tabs. It's added after each page's title (for example, `About
Language Tells search engines and browsers what language your site is written in.
Description The default search description for any page that doesn't have its own.
Preview How your home page looks as a search result or shared link with these defaults.

The preview shows your live address once the site is published. Before then it shows example.com.

    Site images

Click Upload (or Replace) next to an image, or click its image area, to choose an image from your library. Hover over an image and click the X to remove it.

    Image Size Where it appears
Favicon — Light and Dark 64 × 64 pixels The small icon in browser tabs and bookmarks. Add a Dark version if your icon is hard to see on dark browser themes.
Social Preview 1200 × 630 pixels The image shown when someone shares a page that has no social image of its own.
Apple Touch Icon 180 × 180 pixels The icon used when someone adds your site to an iPhone or iPad home screen.

If you set both favicons, browsers pick the one that matches the visitor's light or dark setting. If you set only one, it's used everywhere.

    What you can't set here

You can also ask the AI to set these, for example: "Set the site description to a one-sentence summary of what we do."

Changes reach your live site the next time you publish.
