    Quick insert

    How to add an element right after your selection using only the keyboard.

    Quick insert adds an element or pattern from a searchable list without opening the Elements panel.

      Select an element

      Click an element on the canvas. The new element will go right after it, so select something inside a section rather than a whole section.

      Press `/`

      A list opens with the search box Search elements....

    3. 03

      Find the element

      Type to filter the list. Use ↑ and ↓ to move through it.

      Insert it

      Press Enter. The element is added right after your selection. Press Esc to close the list without inserting.

    Quick insert lists the same elements and patterns as the Elements panel (text, links and buttons, containers, lists, media and patterns). It doesn't include ready-made sections or your components; add those from the Elements panel.

    The list only shows elements that are allowed at that spot. If nothing fits, it says No valid elements for current selection.

    If you selected a whole section or component, you'll see Can't insert here — select an element inside the component. Select something inside it and try again.

    If Dark Magic is on, the AI restyles the new element to fit your brand.
