Page defaults
How to set the background color, text color and font your pages use when a component doesn't set its own.
Page defaults are the starting look of every page: the page background, the text color, and the font. A component that sets its own color or font overrides them.
- 01
Open Settings
In the top bar's view menu, choose Settings, then General.
- 02
Find Page Defaults
Scroll to Page Defaults ("Used when a component doesn’t override them.").
- 03
Set the background
Click Background and pick a color. This is the color all components sit on top of.
- 04
Set the text color
Click Text color and pick a color. All text uses it unless something sets its own.
- 05
Set the font
Click Font and pick one of your font slots.
The choices are your site's colors and fonts. To add new ones, see Colors and Fonts.
Changes take effect on the next page navigation. If the canvas doesn't update right away, switch to another page and back.
There's no button to reset page defaults. To go back, use undo, ask the AI, or restore a checkpoint.
Other site-wide defaults
For other site-wide settings, such as smooth scrolling to links on the same page or smoother font rendering, ask the AI:
