    What the AI can and can't do

    A list of what Starjay's AI can change on your site, and what it can't do or needs you for.

    What the AI can do

    Area What it can do
    Pages Create pages, edit them, and mark pages as draft, ready or deleted. A page marked for deletion is removed on your next publish.
    Components and sections Create, edit and rearrange components and sections, including your header and footer.
    Site layout Add or change the header and footer, and change page navigation and transitions.
    Colors and fonts Add, change and rename colors and fonts in your design tokens.
    Page defaults Set site-wide defaults such as the page background, text color and font.
    Brand guide Read your brand guide on every request, and update it when you ask.
    CMS Create and change collections and items, and add sample items. It can't delete them without you. See Deletes the AI proposes.
    Images Import images from a web address, generate new images, and rename, tag and write alt text for images in your library.
    Forms Create and change forms. Email notification addresses still need you to verify them.
    SEO and redirects Set page titles, descriptions and site SEO defaults, and create and change redirects.
    Domains Connect or disconnect a custom domain, after asking you first.
    Checking its work Take screenshots of your unpublished pages at desktop, tablet and phone sizes, and fix what it sees.
    References Look at a public web page you give it. See Rebuild or borrow from an existing site.
    Reading your site Read and search all of your site's pages and components.

    Everything the AI changes is part of the current AI session, so you can step back or Reject it.

    What the AI can't do

    It can't What to do instead
    Publish or unpublish your site Use the Publish panel. See Publish your site.
    Restore a checkpoint Use Settings → Checkpoints. See Restore a checkpoint.
    Delete CMS content on its own It shows a delete card, and nothing is deleted until you click Delete.
    Delete images from your image library Delete them in the Images panel.
    Verify a form's notification email Enter the code in the Forms panel. See Verify notification emails.
    Store passwords, API keys or other secrets There's no place on your site to store secrets.
    Sign in to other websites Send screenshots of pages behind a login.
    Change billing, plans, workspace members or account settings Use the dashboard.
    Buy a domain Buy it from a domain provider, then connect it.
