    Google Analytics

Connect Google Analytics 4 to your published site with your measurement ID.

Starjay counts page views on its own (see Your site's traffic). If you also want Google Analytics, add your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID.

    1. 01

      Find your measurement ID

In Google Analytics, open Admin → Data streams, choose your web stream, and copy the Measurement ID. It starts with G-.

    2. 02

      Open the Analytics settings

In the editor, choose Settings from the view menu, then Analytics.

    3. 03

      Paste the ID

Paste it into Measurement ID (for example, G-XXXXXXXXXX) and click away from the field. Saved appears below it.

    4. 04

      Publish

Publish your site. The Google Analytics script is added to your live pages.

The tracking script loads only on your live site, never in the editor, so your own editing doesn't show up in Google Analytics.

If you see Enter a valid Measurement ID (e.g. G-XXXXXXXXXX)., check that you copied a GA4 measurement ID, not an older Universal Analytics ID (UA-…) or a Google Tag Manager ID (GTM-…).

To turn Google Analytics off, clear the field, click away and publish again.
